Jesus loves you!!! — You are missing something, and that something is a Someone, He’s God. You were created to know God. You were created to have a personal relationship with Him.

Do you sense a void deep down inside that you’ve been trying to fill with material things, money, careers, drugs, alcohol, relationships, whatever? And none of it works to fill the void!

Are you afraid to die? Not sure where you’ll spend eternity? The Bible only gives us two options: Heaven in perfect peace and happiness with God forever, or Hell, which the Bible describes as darkness, torment, suffering, and separation from God forever with no chance of reprieve. But you don’t have to go there. God will rescue you if you’ll give your life to Him, and embrace Jesus by faith as your Lord and Savior.

Do you sense a feeling of guiltiness, or shame, or dirtiness inside? That’s because you have missed God’s mark of “sinless perfection” and we all have missed His standard, so we’re in a bad situation, on our own.

You know we all have broken God’s law, we’ve all lied, we’ve all stolen things, we’ve all lusted for something or someone that isn’t ours. And we’ve all said, or thought, or even done things that are contrary to God’s character and holiness.

All of this is called “sin” in the Bible, and we’re all guilty of sin. But in spite of ourselves, God still loves us. The Bible says…

Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16 (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The main problem we face today is that we are sinners and we are already separated from a right relationship with God. The Bible says…

Romans 3:23 (NKJV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Now we try to get to God and make peace with Him in our own efforts sometimes, but we all fall short. The Bible says…

Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

But God has a cure for our sin problem, God is the cure, there is only way to God. The Bible says…

1 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God…

And Jesus said…

John 14:6 (NKJV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

So we can be made right with God, we can have peace with God, we can come into a personal relationship with Him. The Bible says…

Romans 5:1 (NKJV)
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

So what will you do with Jesus? What will you do with His offer of forgiveness, peace and life, and heaven for all eternity?

You’ve spiritually hijacked your life until now, you’ve controlled your own destiny so to speak, now’s the time to give control to God. Now’s the time to say “YES” to Jesus, and receive Him. Here’s how…

Admit that you are a sinner.

Believe with all your heart, that Jesus died on the cross, and shed His blood, to pay the penalty for your sin. Your sin has to be paid for before a holy God, and that’s why Jesus died. He died but He rose again and He lives, and He loves you.

Turn from any sin and selfishness, and ask God to help you because we can’t do this in our own strength, but if you’re willing, God will help.

Receive Jesus by faith as your personal Lord and Savior. And follow Him. You can call out to Him by prayer, and invite Jesus to come into your life, and take control of your life now.

Here’s a simple prayer you can pray, and if you mean it with all your heart, God will hear and answer this prayer

Dear God, — I am a sinner, I admit that to you, and I ask you to forgive me. I am trusting that you died on the cross for my sins, and there’s nothing I can do myself, but trust you. I am willing to turn from my sin, and I give my life to you today. I embrace you by faith. Thank you that you have forgiven me, thank you that when I die I will go to heaven. Help me follow you for the rest of my life. — In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

If you prayed and received Christ by reading this, would you please send me an e-mail at office@harvestchapelclt.org, and let me know. — I’d love to encourage you more in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
