Children’s Ministry
Nursery / Preschool / Elementary
Our purpose is to partner with parents to introduce and equip our children in a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Small Groups
We don’t want to just do small groups, but we want to be a church of small groups where real relationships and tight knit loving fellowship is lived out.
Our Small Groups are a place where we can grow in Christ, learn and apply God’s Word, sharing and praying together, and minister to one another.
Missions
We support mission efforts locally and globally. We believe missions and evangelism go hand and hand, so we support five missionaries through Gospel for Asia, mission work in south Sudan, missionaries with Wycliffe in Indonesia, and we also support locally the Monroe Crisis Pregnancy Center. We are prayerfully considering financially supporting even more in the soon future. At least ten percent of our budget or more goes toward missionary efforts and relief, and our own Ripe 4 Life Festivals. We also physically and prayerfully help different local missions in our effort outside those we can support financially.
Men’s Ministry
Provides the opportunity for the men to be together and live life on purpose. We take seriously the call to be the spiritual leaders of our homes. This fellowship time is for encouragement to do just that. Come for prayer, teaching and discussion. Led by Danny Figueroa.
Youth Ministry
Middle/High School and Beyond
We desire to invest in the lives of students and parents, and see students mature into well-balanced followers of Christ, who love Him with all their heart.
Women’s Ministry
Provides the opportunity for women to get together and share life, a chance for the ladies to be prayed for and encouraged by your sisters in Christ at Harvest. Our women meet for Bible study, discussion, fellowship, prayer, and encouragement. The women of the church also organize many of the fellowship events and opportunities for Harvest as a corporate body. Led by Jackie Figueroa.
Worship Team
We are concerned with true authentic worship of God. We want people who worship Him in spirit and truth. We are not a performance band, or entertainment. The Worship team leads the congregation in worship. They are the background band and vocals, we all are the singers (worshipers), and God is the audience. Sincere praise and worship comes from a heart of thankfulness and communion with God. Our worship leader is Galen Slabaugh. Anyone with a heart for worship and the giftedness to play an instrument, or vocally sing and support the team is welcome to interview with Galen. He with the counsel of the team will audition and listen to whoever is interested and considers Harvest their home church.
Note: Not everyone is automatically on the team, only those who are called and gifted by God to do so. However, we will help and encourage all to serve the Lord in the capacity they are gifted.
